They shared what happened during the kind of shift that makes a waiter wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. It really is like something out of a bad dream!
They were left alone in the restaurant after one of their coworkers was fired, and another was attending a funeral. They did everything they could to handle the current tables… but multiple birthday parties and massive groups of people kept coming in the door. I can't even imagine how they got through that. And props to the customers for not wasting time complaining! I hope this waiter got tipped very handsomely for their efforts.

The fact that the owner didn't drop everything to help under those conditions is honestly reason enough to quit
